This 20 page lesson was meant to be presented and completed in one 55 minute class, though some teachers prefer to extend it. There is a word search puzzle for those early finishers AND two bonus writing prompts for extending the lesson. The drawing part of the lesson uses the most basic supplies: pencil, crayons or markers, and paper. All the sub has to do is read the slides or pages and follow the directions. It may be presented as a projected Powerpoint or a printed out. In this activity, students use their imaginations to create a drawing of a silly sandwich.
